Job Description

Requires 2 or more years of experience.
Involves working with a critical care designated multiplace hyperbaric chamber for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency cases.
Weekend, on-call, and holiday shifts are required.

BLS - Basic Life Support
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
CHEMO - Chemotherapy
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
NIH Stroke Certification
CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
Tech Cert Verification - National
State License Verification
NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)

Competencies

Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
Color Blind Testing Online
Competency Exam
Age Specific Competency Exam
Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam

Health Documents

Physical Exam - Required within 1 year of start.
Fit Mask - Required within 1 year of start.
Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap - Required for units working with children.
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray - Required within 1 year of start.
Drug Testing - Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen required within 30 days prior to start.
Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation - Required during flu season.
COVID-19 Vaccination - No longer required for certain locations, but documentation is needed for tracking.

Background Checks

7 Year Criminal Search - Required within 30 days of start.
EPLS/GSA/SAM - Required within 30 days of start.
HHS/OIG - Required within 30 days of start.
References - Two professional references required within 1 year of start.
Employment Verification - Required for the previous 5 years of work history.
Education Verification - Required for the highest level of education.

Additional Information

Candidates must complete various facility-specific documents and training prior to starting.
Uniform requirements include navy blue scrubs, with specific guidelines for different departments.
