Department: Interventional Radiology
Number of Beds: 225
Patient Ratios: 5 Techs, 5 RNs covering 2 IR suites
Equipment Used: Siemens Artis Zee, Philips FD20, Philips Epiq 5 US, Sonosite US, Philips RN-Patient monitors
EMR System: EPIC

Shift Information

Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
Weekend Shift Hours: On-call rotation with 4 other RNs
Call Requirements: Yes, on-call rotation

Qualifications

Required Certifications: RN, BLS, ACLS
Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in Interventional Radiology
Must Have Skills/Experience:
- Ability to oversee routine IR-Rad procedure patients
- Comfortable performing conscious sedation
Preferred Skillset/Experience:
- 2 years experience in an IR-Rad setting

Type of Patients on Unit: Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Department

Personality Fit

Proficient RN motivated to work in a team atmosphere
Willingness to fill in various shifts if staffing issues arise

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Light blue surgery scrubs provided by the facility
