Location: Stockbridge, Georgia

Job Description

• Minimum Experience: 3 years; 1st timers accepted
• Patient Population: Neonates to Geriatrics
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • ARRT (R)(CT) (Computed Tomography)

Work Setting

• General Skills and Requirements:

  • Inpatient and Outpatient Work Settings
  • Follow Piedmont Protocols and Policies to perform CT scans on IP, ER, and OP patients
  • Start IVs, consent patients, and provide excellent patient care
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment with the current team of Technologists, Nurses, Doctors, and Transporters

• Ratio / Census:

  • 4 Rooms with an average caseload of 12-24 per day
  • Level 3 Trauma Hospital with 237 beds and 59 treatment areas in the ED

• Unit Systems:

  • Siemens and Philips CT Scanners
  • Epic Medical Records
  • Fuji PACs

Scheduling and Availability

• RTO (Request Time Off): Maximum of 7 days
• Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified otherwise
• Floating: Within the facility if needed
• Call Requirements: 8 days total, with at least 2 weeks' notice
• Holidays: Expected to work major holidays as specified

Compliance and Pre-Screening

• Full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance may result in a 2-week delay
• Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine fit before being sent to the manager for final decision

Required Certifications and Competencies

• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
  • State License Verification (if applicable)
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam

• Health Documents:

  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
  • Flu and COVID Vaccination or Declination
  • Drug Testing
  • Background Check
