Job Overview: Radiology / Cardiology Position

Location: Stockbridge, Georgia
Facility: Piedmont Henry Hospital (Piedmont Healthcare)
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Description

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday
Minimum Experience: 3 years; 1st timers accepted
Patient Population: Neonates to Geriatrics
Work Settings: Inpatient and Outpatient
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans on inpatient, ER, and outpatient patients following Piedmont protocols.
- Start IVs, consent patients, and provide excellent patient care.
- Collaborate with a team of Technologists, Nurses, Doctors, and Transporters.

Trauma Level: Level 3 Trauma Hospital
Bed Count: 237 beds
ED Treatment Areas: 59 treatment areas
Average Caseload: 12-24 patients per day across 4 rooms

CT Scanners: Siemens and Philips
Medical Records System: Epic
PACS System: Fuji PACs

Requirements

Certifications Required

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
ARRT (R)(CT) (Computed Tomography)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
State License Verification (if applicable)
NIH Stroke Certification (if applicable)

Compliance

Full compliance required to start on time; delays may result in a 2-week pushback due to orientation schedules.

Additional Information

RTO (Request Time Off): Maximum of 7 days
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend unless specified otherwise
Floating: Within the facility if needed
Call Requirements: 8 days total, with at least 2 weeks' notice
Holidays: Expected to work major holidays as specified

Health and Background Requirements

Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start
Vaccinations:
- Flu vaccine or declination required
- COVID vaccine or declination required
Background Check: Required within 30 days of start
