Job Description

• Position: Rotating ICU RN (Nights & Every Other Weekend)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of ICU RN experience
  • 2+ years of continuous work experience in one location, preferably in a MICU
• Floating Required: Yes (mostly Medical/Surgical Units)
• Telemetry Competency: Required

Unit Details

• Unit Name: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Unit Description:

  • 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU
  • Patient diagnoses include Sepsis, GI bleed, Respiratory failure, Cardiac arrest, Renal failure, DKA, and cardiogenic shock
  • Attendings and Residents present 24 hours/day
• RN to Patient Ratio: 1:2 or 1:1 with high acuity
• Patient Population: All
• Bed Count: 20 beds
• EMR (Charting System): EPIC

Shift Details

• Rotating Shifts:

  • Day positions may rotate between 7a-7p, 11a-11p, or 7p-7a
  • Night shift does not rotate

Required Certifications

• Active Massachusetts RN License
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Additional Information

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Health and Safety Requirements:

  • COVID-19 vaccination required
  • TB screening and health statement required
  • Fit testing for N95 respirators required
  • Documentation of MMR and Influenza vaccinations required
