Job Description

• Supports the mission and vision of McLaren Port Huron through behaviors that reflect and integrate the organization's values.
• Performs specific special procedures, vascular, and cardiovascular procedures.
• Implements activities to establish and maintain quality diagnostic studies.
• Coordinates special procedure examinations to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
• Contributes to the efficient operation of the department and assists in the implementation of the patient’s plan of care.
• Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence.
• Contributes to the effective operations of the department through dependable job performance.

Requirements

• Education:

  • Associate's degree in Radiology Technology or Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography Program.
• Certifications:

  • RCIS registration (Required).
  • BLS certification (Required).
  • ACLS certification within one year of hire (Required).
• Experience:

  • One year of Vascular and Cardiac Cath lab or Special Procedures experience preferred.
• Licensure:

  • Michigan license verification is required for nurses.

Additional Information

• Travelers must live/stay within 30 minutes of the facility during the assignment (not a requirement for submission).
• References are not required.
• A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required; all other professions outside of Nursing are preferred but not required.
• Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
