Job Description

Position/Specialty: CCU (Critical Care Unit)
Shift: Nights
Patient Ratios/Daily Caseload: 2-3 patients per nurse
Experience Required: Minimum of 1.5 years
First-timers Accepted: Yes
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
On-call Requirement: No
Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs (5 facility float clause is emergency only)
Holiday Requirement: 75% of holidays
Local Candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles
Pending License: Accepted
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 2 weeks, added to the end of the contract
Guaranteed Hours: Yes

Previous Employment: No recent Atrium employees (including PRN and internal temp) within the past year, and no travelers that recently lived locally.

Documentation Requirements:
- North Carolina Driver's License must list an address greater than 50 miles from the facility.
- Residency Declaration Form if using a compact license that is not NC.
- Various certifications and health documents are required, including but not limited to:
  - ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM, NIH Stroke Certification, and others as applicable.
- Background checks, education verification, and state-specific searches are mandatory.
