Floating Between Units: Yes
On-Call Required: No
Weekends Required: Yes, every other weekend (sometimes more)

BLS: Basic Life Support

EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring
NURSYS Verification: Required for all RNs
IV Certification: Required for LVN/LPN/Other
Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB): Required
NIH Stroke Certification: Required
CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute: Required
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required

Health Documents

Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start
TB Test: IGRA/TSPOT, QGold, or 2 PPDs within 12 months of start date
Vaccinations:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Flu Vaccine (seasonal)
- COVID-19 Vaccination

Background Check

Background Check: Required within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked within past 7 years.

References

References: Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last three years within a comparable specialty/setting.
