Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech

Position Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift Information

• Schedule: 2 shifts of 8 hours and 2 shifts of 12 hours per week (total 40 hours)

  • 1st/2nd shift: 2 shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and 2 shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• On-call Requirement: Yes, as needed
• Floating: No

Experience and Qualifications

• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
• First-timers Accepted: Yes
• Certifications Required:

  • ARRT
  • BLS
  • Illinois state license (active license required to apply)
• Special Requirements:

  • Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ER, ICU, NICU, Operating Room
  • Proficiency in various X-Ray skills (e.g., Abdomen, Chest, Spine, Upper and Lower Extremities)
  • Experience with O-ARM equipment preferred
  • Level I Trauma experience preferred

Additional Information

• RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
• Guaranteed Hours: Client may call off up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without compensation for canceled hours.

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical Exam: Required within a year of start
• Vaccinations:

  • Flu Vaccine or approved Medical/Religious Exemption required
  • TB testing and other immunizations (e.g., MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella) required
• Drug Testing: 9-panel drug screen required within 30 days of start
• Background Check: Required within 30 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years

Documentation Requirements

• Valid/current US Driver’s license or ID
• Certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.)
• HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgment
• NURSYS Verification (if applicable)
• Badge photo for identification
