Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Schedule: 7 AM - 4 PM, Tuesday to Thursday

Job Description

Required certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)
Previous outpatient experience required
Minimum of 2 years of experience required
Required skills:
- 2-D Echo
- Bubble study
- Color Doppler
- Use of contrast agents
- Routine treadmill stress echo
Accepts first-time travelers
Previous charge experience preferred

Certifications and Competencies

Required Certifications

ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
BLS: Basic Life Support
PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
CHEMO: Chemotherapy
TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course
EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring
Tech Cert Verification: National
NIH Stroke Certification
CPI: Crisis Prevention Institute

Health Documents

Physical Exam: Completed within 1 year of start
Fit Mask: Respirator Fit Test to be completed onsite
TB Screening: Negative PPD, GOLD, or TSPOT within 1 year
Vaccinations:
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years
- Flu vaccine during flu season
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
Drug Testing: Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen required within 30 days of start

Background and History

Background Check: Required within 6 months of start
References: 2 Professional References within 2 years of start
Employment Application: Required

Additional Information

Previous charge experience is preferred.
Must check unit description for specific requirements and certifications.
Compliance with all health and safety regulations is mandatory.
