Overview

Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania
Facility: Regional Hospital of Scranton (Community Health Systems)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Days, 5x8 hour shifts (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Call Requirements: After hours and weekend call rotated on a weekly basis (approximately every 3rd week)

Qualifications

Certifications Required:
- PA ARRT certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Preferred Certification: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
Experience Required: 1 year of Cardiac Interventional Radiology Cath Lab experience

Additional Information

Types of Services Provided:
- Diagnostic catheterization
- Interventional procedures
- Peripheral interventions
- Structural heart procedures
- Thrombectomy
Scope of Role:
- Support diagnostic and therapeutic/interventional cardiovascular procedures.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and judgment in assisting with imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Responsible for performing studies timely under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services.
