Job Opportunity: Sonographer

Overview

Schedule

• Week 1: Tuesday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Week 2:

  • Wednesday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
  • Thursday & Friday, 9:30 AM - 8:00 PM
  • Saturday, 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of exams including:

  • Abdomen
  • Renal
  • Liver Doppler
  • OB (all trimesters)
  • Pelvic
  • Thyroid
  • Scrotum
  • Kidney transplants
  • Neonatal imaging
  • Procedures
• Must be able to work independently.

Required Credentials

1. BLS Certification: AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted.
2. License/Certificate Verification: Primary source verification of professional license and/or certification.
3. Fit Test: N95 fit test required within 365 days of start date.
4. COVID-19 Vaccine: Completed primary series or up-to-date vaccination required.
5. MMR Vaccination: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or proof of immunity.
6. Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30).
7. TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON TB Test within 3 months of start date.
8. Health Statement: Signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date.
9. MGB Criminal Background Check: Required within 45 days prior to start date.
10. MGB Massachusetts CORI: Attestation required within 30 days prior to start date.
11. Resume: Include past 7 years of work experience.
12. References: Two recent references, including at least one supervisor.
13. Skills Checklist: Required for submission.
14. Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions.

Additional Information

• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity is strongly preferred.
• Tdap vaccination within 10 years is preferred.
• All health history documentation must be updated as required.
