Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room

Overview

Specialty: RN Emergency Room

Employment Type: LTA (Long-Term Assignment)
Contract Length: 12 months

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support): Required for onboarding.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support): Required for onboarding.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): Required for onboarding.

License and Health Requirements

License/Certificate Verification: Primary source verification of professional license and/or certification required within 30 days of start date.
Fit Test: N95 fit test required within 365 days prior to start date and updated annually.
MGB Medication Exam: 80% passing score required within 365 days.
COVID-19 Vaccine: Completed primary series required; no exemptions considered.
MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): Documentation of vaccinations or proof of immunity required.
Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season; no exemptions considered.
TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON TB Test required within 3 months of start date.
Health Statement: Signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date.
Hepatitis B: Strongly preferred documentation of vaccination or proof of immunity.
Tdap: Vaccine within 10 years preferred.

Background Checks

MGB Criminal Background Check: Required for onboarding.
MGB Massachusetts CORI: Required for onboarding.
MGB SSN Trace: Required for onboarding.
MGB National Sex Offender Check: Required for onboarding.
MGB Exclusion Checks: Required for onboarding.

Documentation and References

MGB Resume: Required for submission, including past 7 years of work experience.
MGB References: Minimum of 2 recent references required, including at least 1 supervisor.
MGB Skills Checklist: Required for submission.
MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for onboarding.

Additional Information

All required documents must be uploaded as PDFs where specified.
Documentation must be updated if there is a break in service or change in medical status.
Strong preference for candidates with a completed primary COVID-19 vaccination series and other required immunizations.
