Job Description

• Position: ED Boarder - IMC RN
• Shift: 3 x 12 N 1900-0730
• On Call/Weekend Requirement: No on call, every other weekend required
• Float Requirement: Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

Requirements

• Licensure: DC RN licensure
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in MS/TELE, IMC RN
  • Must have successful completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Additional Requirement: All travelers must have their flu vaccination.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Additional Information

• Health Documents:

  • Annual physical exam stating the candidate is able to perform work without accommodations and is free from communicable disease.
  • N95 Fit Test within 9 months of start, updated annually.
  • TB testing (IGRA or PPD) required annually.
  • Vaccinations for MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap recommended.
  • Drug screen required within 90 days of start.

• Background Check: Required within 90 days of start, including criminal background check and education verification.

• References: Two positive supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment.

• Skills Checklist: Required prior to start and updated annually.
