Job Description
- Position: ED Boarder - IMC RN
- Shift: 3 x 12 N 1900-0730
- On Call/Weekend Requirement: No on call, every other weekend required
- Float Requirement: Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
Requirements
- Licensure: DC RN licensure
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MS/TELE, IMC RN
- Must have successful completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment
- Additional Requirement: All travelers must have their flu vaccination.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Additional Information
Health Documents:
- Annual physical exam stating the candidate is able to perform work without accommodations and is free from communicable disease.
- N95 Fit Test within 9 months of start, updated annually.
- TB testing (IGRA or PPD) required annually.
- Vaccinations for MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap recommended.
- Drug screen required within 90 days of start.
Background Check: Required within 90 days of start, including criminal background check and education verification.
References: Two positive supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment.
Skills Checklist: Required prior to start and updated annually.
