Unit Size: 42 bed level 3 unit
Patient Ratios: 1:3
Call Requirement: Yes, 1 day per 6 weeks
Floating Requirement: Yes
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Required Certifications

BLS: Basic Life Support
NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (as applicable)
PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (as applicable)
CHEMO: Chemotherapy (as applicable)
TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course (as applicable)
Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB): (as applicable)
NIH Stroke Certification: (as applicable)
CPI: Crisis Prevention Institute (as applicable)

Additional Requirements

Internal Requirements:
- I-9 form
- E-Verify
- Drivers License/State ID
Health Documents:
- Physical Exam within 12 months of start
- Fit Test required within 1 year of start
- Adult TDAP Vaccine within 10 years of start
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year of start
- Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start
- Vaccination records for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
- Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation
- COVID-19 Vaccination (Dose 1 and 2 if applicable)

Background and History Checks

7 Year Background Check: Required within 1 year of start
Work History Verification: Required for all candidates
Education Verification: Required to verify highest level of education
References: 2 Professional References for Travel, Allied, Per Diem Acute Care
