Job Description

Unit Details:
- PCU/MS/ED Hold - Float Pool
- Responsibilities include caring for post-surgical, medical, and PCU stepdown patients in inpatient units and ER as hold patients.
- Nurses will float throughout the hospital, including the Emergency Department.

Schedule

Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Call Requirement: None
Floating: Within facility/scope of practice (ED included)

Experience Requirements

Minimum Experience: 2 years

Compliance and Documentation

Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; delays may push back start date by 2 weeks.

  - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  - BLS (Basic Life Support)
  - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  - EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)

  - NURSYS Verification
  - Tech Cert Verification (if applicable)

  - Physical Exam
  - Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
  - TB Questionnaire
  - Vaccination Records (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu, COVID)

Additional Information

Holidays: Expected to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period.
