Job Opportunity: NICU RRT in Margate, Florida

Position Details

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 12
• Staffing: 5-8 staff members including a Director, permanent staff, and 2-3 RRTs, with per diem help.
• Patient Ratios: 1:1, 2:1
• Type of Equipment: Oxygen cylinders, nebulizers, suction machines, CPAP & BIPAP machines
• EMR System: Meditech

Qualifications

Required Skills

• BLS, ACLS, & PALS certifications (NRP for NICU is an absolute must)
• 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience

Preferred Skills

• Stroke education and experience
• NRP certification
• Previous experience with Meditech

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema.
