Job Description

Position/Specialty: Peds Critical Care FP
Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2; if floating to NICU, it could be 1:3
Experience Required: 2+ years of recent PICU or CVPICU experience
First-timers Accepted: Yes
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; open to blocked scheduling
On-call Requirement: No
Floating Requirement: Yes, between NICU, PICU, CVPICU
Local Candidates Accepted: Yes
Pending License Accepted: Yes
RTO Restrictions: 7 days max RTO; if 1 consecutive week, must add a week to the end of the contract to make up RTO
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours; no OT until after 48 hours

Certifications Required

BLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
CHEMO (Chemotherapy)
HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
State License Verification
NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam

Health Requirements

Physical Exam within 30 days of start
Fit Test for N95 masks within 1 year of start
Tdap vaccine within 10 years
Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 60 days of start
10 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start
Flu Vaccine or Medical/Religious Exemption during flu season

Background and History Requirements

Background Check within 30 days of start covering all locations lived/worked/schooled for the past 7 years
2 Professional References dated within the past two years
