Job Description
- Position/Specialty: Peds Critical Care FP
- Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2; if floating to NICU, it could be 1:3
- Experience Required: 2+ years of recent PICU or CVPICU experience
- First-timers Accepted: Yes
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; open to blocked scheduling
- On-call Requirement: No
- Floating Requirement: Yes, between NICU, PICU, CVPICU
- Local Candidates Accepted: Yes
- Pending License Accepted: Yes
- RTO Restrictions: 7 days max RTO; if 1 consecutive week, must add a week to the end of the contract to make up RTO
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours; no OT until after 48 hours
Certifications Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- CHEMO (Chemotherapy)
- HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
- State License Verification
- NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
Health Requirements
- Physical Exam within 30 days of start
- Fit Test for N95 masks within 1 year of start
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 60 days of start
- 10 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start
- Flu Vaccine or Medical/Religious Exemption during flu season
Background and History Requirements
- Background Check within 30 days of start covering all locations lived/worked/schooled for the past 7 years
- 2 Professional References dated within the past two years
