Job Description

• Role: CVOR Surgical Technologist
• Shift: 1100-2330 with cardiac call; other cases may be performed if no cardiac cases are available.
• Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of strong Surgical Tech experience, particularly in CVOR and Vascular.
  • Minimum of 18 months experience required; 2 years preferred.
• Call Requirements:

  • Cardiac call required, approximately 6 shifts per month, may increase based on staffing needs.
• Weekend Requirements: Discussed during the interview.

Certifications and Requirements

• BLS: Required
• National Certifications: NBSTSA and/or NCCT preferred but not required.
• Floating: Clinicians may float within the scope to meet facility needs.
• Local Candidates: Accepted at the same rate as travelers.
• Pending Licenses: Not accepted.
• RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at the time of submission.

Health and Safety Requirements

• Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen, including nicotine, required within 1 year of start.
• Vaccinations:

  • Seasonal Influenza vaccine required.
  • COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of Pfizer/Moderna or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson) required.
• TB Testing: Negative PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-spot required within 1 year of start.
• Physical Exam: Required within 6 months of start.

Additional Information

• Onboarding: Online training modules must be completed prior to start.
• Background Check: 7-year criminal check required.
• References: 2 professional references required, must be within 2 years of start.

Special Requirements

• Must have experience in Cardiac OR and be able to start call.
• Time-sensitive modules must be prioritized once confirmed for an assignment.
