Number of Beds: 800+
Number of Staff: 112
Patient Ratios: 1 patient per hour worked
Type of Equipment: Walker, gait belt, etc.
EMR System: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile

Required Skills

Education: Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Physical Therapy
Experience: Preferably one or more years in:
- Acute Care
- Inpatient Rehab
- Pediatrics
- Outpatient

Preferred Skills

Previous acute care experience
ICU experience

Typical Procedures Performed

Evaluating patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities
Establishing plans of care with therapeutic interventions
Documenting evaluations, treatments, and discharge summaries
Supervising PTA and support personnel
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to implement intervention programs
Providing constructive feedback to improve productivity and professional development

Personality Fit

Hungry, humble, and emotionally intelligent

Required Certifications

Physical Therapy License issued by The Executive Council of Physical Therapy (ECPTOTE) Texas State Board
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)

Additional Information

Dress Code: Black pants and olive/sage green scrub top
On-Call Requirements: 1x a month with a compensatory day off
