Position Details

Facility: Physicians Regional Medical Center - Pine Ridge (Community Health Systems)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 7 AM to 7 PM

Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Key responsibilities include:

Performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
Demonstrating proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
Knowledge of processing CT systems, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited AMA school.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
Licensed by the state as a general radiographer.
Experience with Philips CT equipment.
Must be willing to float between campuses as needed.
AHCA required for all CHS Florida placements.
