Employment Details

• Employment Type: Home Health
• Contract Length: 4 weeks
• Shift Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday
• Weekend Requirements: Currently Saturday/Sunday once a month with 2 days to compensate during the week

• Holiday Requirements: If needed
• Self-Scheduling: Yes, within guidelines and needs of the department

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum Clinical Experience Required: 1 year in Home Health
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS
  • OASIS experience preferred
• Prior Travel Experience: Preferred
• Nurse Patient Ratio: Average caseload of 18-22 clients for Case Manager equivalent, 5 visits per day

Orientation and Training

• Days of Orientation: 2-3 days
• Documentation System: Netsmart (training included in orientation)
• Special Equipment Provided: Laptop, iPhone, clinical items including trunk bin/visit bag for vital signs, wound care, catheters, etc.

Additional Information

• Transportation: Public transportation is not accessible; reliable personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended.
• Physical Therapist Needed: Experience in Home Health setting preferred.
• COVID-19 Requirements: Covid vaccination or declination must be included upon submission.

Unit Specific Procedures and Protocols

• Procedures include phlebotomy, catheters, IV, coag-u-check, port access, wound vacs, TPN, feeding tubes, drains, nebulizer.
• Special Equipment: Respiratory support available 24/7.
