Job Opportunity: Travel RN - Rehabilitation

Position Details

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 41
• Staffing:

  • Day Shift: 4 RNs, 5 LPNs
  • Night Shift: 4 RNs, 4 LPNs
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Type of Equipment: Patient lifts, iSTAT, glucometer, inhalers/breathing treatments
• EMR System: Meditech Magic

Required Qualifications

• Must Have:

  • IV certification for LPNs
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to read telemetry

• Preferred:

  • CRRN Certification
  • Knowledge of Quality Indicator scoring in a post-acute setting
  • ACLS certification (within 90 days)

Typical Responsibilities

• Assist in rehabilitation care plans established by the interdisciplinary team
• Perform lab draws, administer IV medications and blood as needed
• Conduct head-to-toe assessments

• Enjoys educating patients and family members on care plans and rehabilitation programs
• Possesses good communication skills
• Empathetic and acts as a patient advocate
