Job Description

• Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases.
• Strong knowledge of floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines.
• Ability to identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedures.
• Critical thinking skills to assist proceduralists during neuro-interventional and complex cases.
• Operate power injection of iodinated contrast media devices during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Strong communication skills using closed loop communication.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention measures while setting up procedural trays.
• Collaborate positively with a multi-disciplinary team including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons.
• Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical records and sending images to Sectra/PACs system.
• Manage groin post-intervention.
• Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BLS certification from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or a BLS accredited program with skill demonstration in basic life support measures.
• Current licensure and certification with ARRT in New Jersey.
• 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or a Cardiovascular Technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
• Must have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities.

Contract Length

• 89 days
