Job Opportunity: Travel RN Position

Location

City: Hendersonville, Tennessee
Facility: Hendersonville Medical Center (part of HCA Healthcare)
Unit: Critical Care Unit (CCU)

Unit Specifics

Number of Beds: 20
Patient Ratios: 2:1 for CCU patients
Staffing: Unit secretary available on days and nights, occasional tech help
Equipment: GE monitors, Alaris pumps, Puritan Bennet ventilators
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: 36 hours/week, 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
Floating Policy: Contract labor floats before core staff
Patient Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of critical care experience

Required Skills

Experience: 1 year of critical care experience
Certifications: ACLS, NIH certification
Technical Skills:
- Meditech experience
- Ability to manage arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths, cardiovascular & vasopressor drips, and ventilated patients

Procedures Performed on Unit

Bedside central line placement
Massive transfusion protocol

Dress Code

Required Uniform: Black scrubs
