Job Description

• Position: Certified Wound/Ostomy/Continence Nurse (WOCN) required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years current wound care experience is mandatory.
• Certification: WOCN certification must be in-hand at the time of profile upload (non-negotiable).
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Required (dose date on or after 10/3/23). Exemption forms are available, and if approved, the traveler must wear a mask at all times while on site.
• Local Candidates: Not considered (those residing within 50 miles of the facility).

Requirements

• Interview Availability: At least two specific interview dates/times must be added to the profile; "anytime" will not be accepted.
• Vehicle: Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
• Profile Requirements:

  • Work history
  • Skills checklist (current to 1 year)
  • One supervisory signed reference (from within the past two years)
  • License/certifications (must be uploaded with profile)

Additional Information

• Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color.
• Orientation: 8 hours non-billable.
• Scheduling: Block scheduling/schedule accommodations (10/12 hour shifts) will not be considered.
• Preferred Experience: Meditech Expanse experience and acute care knowledge.
