Job Description

• General Duties:

  • NICU coverage for swallowing/feeding issues
  • Infant swallowing treatment
  • Pediatric general treatment sessions and evaluations

• Equipment Utilized:

  • Meditech for scheduling and documentation

Requirements

• Skills and Experience:

  • Prefer prior NICU experience and experience with infant swallowing treatments
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required

• Licensures and Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)

Schedule

• Shift Requirements:

  • Monday to Friday, 8-hour days or 4-10 hour days
  • Employee may work alone at times
  • Weekends not required

• Floating:

  • No floating to other departments, but will treat patients in outpatient (OP) and NICU settings

Additional Information

• Dress Code: Scrubs or business casual
• Orientation: Training on documentation and department processes provided by patient care supervisor and speech therapists
