Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room

Overview

Specialty: RN Emergency Room
Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Hospital System: Mass General Brigham
Facility: Newton-Wellesley Hospital
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Nights - 12hr x3 (7:15 PM - 7:15 AM)
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Required Certifications

BLS: Basic Life Support (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military)
PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military)
ACLS: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military)

License and Verification Requirements

License/Certificate Verification: Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification required within 30 days of start date.
Education Verification: Must verify highest level of education achieved.
Criminal Background Check: Must include past 7 years of work experience and education.

Health Requirements

COVID-19 Vaccine: Completed primary series or up-to-date vaccination required.
MMR Vaccine: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or proof of immunity.
Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30).
TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON TB Test required within 3 months of start date.
Health Statement: Signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date.
Tdap Vaccine: Preferred within 10 years.

Additional Requirements

References: Two recent references, including at least one supervisor or above.
Skills Checklist: Required for submission.
Fit Test: N95 fit test required within 365 days prior to start date.
Submission Checklist: Use the current version found in the Document Library.

Notes

All health documentation must be uploaded as PDFs.
No exemptions or waivers for vaccination requirements will be considered.
Documentation must be updated if there is a break in service of more than 6 months.
