Job Description

Seeking an RN with experience in the cardiac cath lab, including potential electrophysiology (EP) experience. Candidates should have knowledge of structural heart, endovascular procedures, and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) or chronic total occlusions (CTO). Prior experience in a high acuity lab is required, along with familiarity with various drips and equipment used in the lab.

Required Credentials

1. BLS Certification: American Heart Association only.
2. ACLS Certification: American Heart Association only.
3. License/Certificate Verification: Must have a valid permanent RN license; temporary licenses are not accepted.
4. MMR Immunization: Positive titers only from within the last 15 years.
5. Fit Test: Completed within 1 year of start.
6. Hepatitis B Vaccination: Proof of full series or at least two vaccines, or signed declination.
7. Varicella Immunization: Positive titers only from within the last 15 years.
8. Tdap Vaccination: Proof of vaccination within the past 10 years.
9. 2-Step PPD or IGRA: Negative results within the last 6 months.
10. Physical/Health Statement: Completed within one year of initial start date.
11. Influenza Vaccine: Proof of vaccination from October to March or approved exemption.
12. Driver's License/State ID: Non-expired photo ID.
13. UHS Submission Packet: Resume, education, work history, and two professional references required.
14. UHS Criminal Background Check Results: Ran within 6 months of start.
15. UHS OIG Search: To be completed within 6 months prior to start.
16. UHS Drug Screen: Must be completed within 60 days of initial start date.

Additional Information

• Competency Exams: Must score at least 80% within 1 year prior to start.
• UHS Skills Checklist: Required to be completed within 1 year prior to start.
• Safety and Compliance Training: Completion certificate required prior to clearance.
