  • NIHSS (as required within specified days)

  • 2yrs required experience in Step down or ICU department

  • Experience in Step down or ICU department
    Additional Details
  • Must be AHA.
  • Nursing only Michigan hospitals need their licensure verified through LARA not NURSYs but you will still upload here.
  • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
  • Must be AHA.
  • Exam and answer key found in Document Library. Agency is required to give and grade the test. Score needs to be 90% or higher with only 2 attempts.
  • Completed prior to start and updated every 3 years.
  • HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics
  • Ascension Specialty Exam
  • Ascension Color Vision
  • Ascension Core Competencies
  • Ascension EKG Exam
  • Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation
  • Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding
  • Ascension Nova StatStrip
  • Vaccines or Positive IGG Titer. If Negative titer, must have booster vaccine.
  • Flu season is October 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025. Exemptions/Declinations are accepted, but candidate will be required to wear a mask at all times.
  • At the completion of assignment, vendor partner sends survey link to contract worker to be completed within 72 hours. Survery details can be found in the document library.
