Description

Job details

SLMC - IR. Experienced in IR to perform basic to complexed IR procedures i.e. chest tube placement, Y-90, TIPS etc.
Neuro IR experience preferred.
Must be proficient in basic to advanced IR procedures.

Job requirements

ARRT, BLS; WI License
Scrubbing and panning simultaneously, experience with General IR cases above
Would prefer them be comfortable with charging/coding for procedures but not required

Schedule information

Weekend rotation: Call
Weekday call (Monday – Thursday) - 1 call shift per week usually, EOS until following day at 0700
Weekend call (Friday-Sunday) - Once every 5th weekend, EOS Friday until Monday at 0700
Travelers will only take Neuro Call if they have Neuro experience. If not, then will just take General IR call.
Response time: 30 minutes
General IR: 0700-1530
Neuro: 0730-1600
Manager is open to altering shift times (i.e. – if the job posting is for five 8h shift, she is willing to change to four 10h shifts or two 8s and two 12s)

Rooms: 5
Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, as long as they have IR experience
Department is staffed 24/7
All adults, no peds
Patient types: General IR, Neuro IR (required), etc.
Patients seen in a day: Around 40-50 patients a day on average
