Description
- BLS (as mentioned in additional_info, preference for AHA, will accept Red Cross)
- Massachusetts Nuclear Medicine Technologist license
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist position available covering PET/CT, General Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology, and/or Rb82 Cardiac PET, and evening and weekend on call for general Nuclear Medicine exams.
- Under general supervision and following established procedures, handles and administers radiopharmaceuticals and operates radiation detection and imaging equipment.
- Qualifications include graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology and the ability to remain up to date on developments and trends in imaging techniques, procedures, and equipment.
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Valid Massachusetts license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Must be registered or eligible for certification by ARRT-N or NMTCB and complete certification within one year of employment.
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients.
- Includes evening and weekend on-call situations for general Nuclear Medicine exams.
