- Night Shift: 1 Charge/CNC, 6 RNs, 3 PCTs
Patient Ratios: 1:5 to 1:6
Equipment Used: Computer on Wheels, Hospira pumps, I MOBILE phones
EMR System: MEDITECH

Required Skills and Certifications

Must Have:
- BLS Certification
- Active TX RN License
Preferred:
- Bariatric Certification
- Med/Surg Certification
- Ortho Certification
- ACLS Certification

Typical Procedures Performed

Bariatric Procedures (e.g., Gastric bypass, Gastric sleeves)
Orthopedic Surgeries (e.g., Total hip replacements, Total knee replacements)
General Surgery (e.g., Laparoscopic cholecystectomy, Laparoscopic appendectomies)

Floating Areas

Med/Renal, Oncology, Med/Surg Tele, CVTS, and Telemetry

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Navy scrub top and pants
Nail Policy: Clean and healthy
Hair: Neat and clean, no extreme styles or colors
Beards/Mustaches: Clean and neatly trimmed
Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible
Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited

Attendance Policies

Weekend Shifts: 4 weekend shifts in a schedule or 2 full weekends
Night Shift Weekend: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Day Shift Weekend: Saturday, Sunday
