Number of Beds: 33
Patient Ratios: 6:1
Shift: 1900-0730
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every other Saturday & Sunday (24 hours total)
Call Requirements: No

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
NIH (National Institutes of Health) certified
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Experience Requirements

Minimum Experience: 1-2 years
Must Have Skills/Experience:
- Telemetry experience
- Epic charting or similar EMR experience
- Alaris IV pump experience
Preferred Skillset/Experience: CAPD (peritoneal dialysis) experience

Patient Population

Types of Patients: Observation and inpatient
Common Diagnoses:
- Chest pain
- Stroke
- Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
- Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Failure to thrive
- Alcohol withdrawal with CIWA <9
- Sickle cell crisis
- Cellulitis
- Sepsis

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Dark navy blue
