• Unit: CT Tech (726)
• Number of Beds: 2 CT Scanners, 2 tables
• Staffing:

  • 2 CT Techs available 24 hours a day
  • 12-hour shifts for both day and night shifts
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Equipment: GE, 1.5, Discovery 450
• EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills

• Must Have:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Preferred:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - not required
  • RT (T) (Radiologic Technologist in CT)
  • ASRT (American Society of Radiologic Technologists)
  • FASRT (Fellow of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists)

Typical Procedures

• CT Scans
• MRI
• Body scans
• X-Rays
• Creating images of bones, organs, and tissues for assessment
