Unit Information

Unit: Cardiac IMC
Number of Beds: 7 (expanding to 10)
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 Sitters
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 1 RN
Patient Ratios: 4:1
Equipment: Telebox, EKG
EMR: Meditech

Required Skills

Must Have:
- EKG rhythm interpretation
- 2 years of cardiac experience
- Post cardiac catheterization experience
- Telemetry experience
Preferred:
- Blood administration
- Cardiac gtts titration
- Cath Lab experience
- Cardioversion experience

Typical Procedures

Telemetry monitoring
Cardioversion
EKG 12 lead

Required Certifications

ACLS
BLS

Additional Information

Floating Areas: Telemetry, PCU, Medical/Surgical
Dress Code: Navy blue scrub top and bottoms
