• Contract Length: 12 months
• Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM, Every Other Weekend (EOW), Every Other Holiday (EOH), 36 hours a week

Job Description

• Specialty Required: RN Oncology
• Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in Oncology, Step Down, Surgical, and Telemetry
  • No Chemotherapy Privilege required

Credentialing Requirements

Mandatory Certifications

• BLS: American Heart Association certification required for clinical positions.
• License Verification: Primary source verification of professional license and/or certification required within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration. Temporary licenses are not accepted.

Health Requirements

• COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof of vaccination or approved exemption preferred.
• MMR: Positive titers required from within the last 15 years.
• Fit Test: Completed within 1 year of start.
• Hepatitis B: Proof of vaccination series or signed declination required.
• Varicella: Positive titers required from within the last 15 years.
• Tdap: Proof of vaccination within the past 10 years.
• Annual Negative PPD: Required if 2-step PPD not done within the past year.
• Influenza Vaccine: Proof of vaccination required during flu season or approved exemption.

Professional Requirements

• UHS I-9 Attestation: Completed I-9 or attestation required.
• Background Checks:

  • UHS Ohio Fingerprints and National Database Criminal background check required.
  • UHS Criminal Background Check Results required within 6 months of start.
  • UHS OIG Search required.
  • UHS SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC screening required.

Education and Employment Verification

• Education Verification: Highest level of education must be verified.
• Employment Verification: Verification of employment within the last 5 years required.

Skills and Competency

• UHS Skills Checklist: Skill-specific checklist required to be completed within 1 year prior to start.
• UHS Competency Exam: Must score at least 80% on relevant department exams.
• UHS Core Competencies: Must complete within 1 year prior to start.

Additional Requirements

• Physical Exam: Completed within one year of initial start date.
• Driver's License/State ID: Non-expired photo ID required.
• Resume and References: Resume to include education and work history, with 2 professional references required within the last 2 years.
