We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a travel position in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment while exploring the historic and vibrant community of Petersburg, VA.

• Location: Petersburg, VA
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: December 2, 2024
• Shift: 12-hour days, 4 shifts per week, every other weekend, holidays required
• Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry, 30-bed unit (can flex to 37 beds)
• Patient Ratios: Typically 1:5-7
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2700-$2770

• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience
• One year of travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Dysrhythmia exam required (study guide available)
• EPIC experience preferred
• Surgical experience preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles outside of the facility

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings
• Collaborate with clinical support staff including Monitor Techs, Phlebotomists, and CNAs
• Float to other Med/Surg units as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
