- Facility: Eastern Maine Medical Center
- Location: Bangor, Maine
- Licensed Beds: 411
Job Description
- Position: Manager Interview
- Environment: Busy and fast-paced; teamwork is essential.
- Imaging Rooms: 3 Nuclear Medicine Camera Rooms.
Patient Care
- Patient Types:
- Cardiac scans
- Stress Rest tests
- HIDA scans
- Renal scans
- Bone scans
- PET CT
- Average Patients Seen Per Day: 15 scans
Required Qualifications
- Licensure and Certifications:
- BLS
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB
- Maine State Radiography License with Nuclear Medicine Designation
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year experience accepted; first-time travelers are welcome.
Skills Required
- Experience with the specified scans.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as a team.
- Ability to work independently.
Department Support
- Available Support:
- Supervisor/Leadership
- Stress RN
- Cardiologist
- Radiologist
Technology and Equipment
- EMR: Cerner
- PACS: Enterprise Imaging AGFA
- Equipment: Siemens Intevo; Hot Lab Equipment – Capintec
Work Schedule
- Orientation: 2 weeks, based on experience/comfort level.
- Weekend Rotation: Sunday only, approximately once per month.
- Call Requirements: None.
- Holiday Expectations: Department closed on major holidays; minor holidays rotated among techs.
- RTO: Requires Manager Approval.
