Job Description

The position requires a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who will work under indirect supervision. The candidate must be competent in all therapy-related skills and vital signs. The role involves providing care primarily in the Central Region (York County) and may extend to neighboring counties as needed.

Schedule Requirements

• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Weekend Rotation: Saturday

Minimum Experience and Certifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years
• Certifications Required:

  • Associate's degree
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Licensed PTA

Essential Functions

• Implement exercise and treatment programs as determined by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in patient testing, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve patient care goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and conduct training for medical and nursing personnel.
• Utilize safe patient handling techniques.
• Participate in mentoring and administrative duties as assigned.
