Position Details

Specialty: Surgical Services
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Facility: Ohio State's Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift Information

Schedule:
- 2 shifts of 8 hours (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
- 2 shifts of 12 hours (10:30 AM - 11:00 PM)
Call Requirement: Yes
Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics

Experience Requirements

Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year in a Level I Trauma facility
- Minimum of 1 year in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
NIH Stroke Certification (for Critical Care RNs)
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (required within 1 year of start)

- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
- Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation
- Hepatitis B Titer or 3-Vaccine Series
- Varicella Vaccines or Positive Titer
