Provides operational, quality improvement, and management consulting services. Plans implements, and evaluates projects related to system development, operational and strategic planning, and policy development to improve the quality of care. Provides leadership, expertise, education, program development, and consultation services to promote the standards of nursing practice.

Supports the planning, development, and implementation of cross-functional operational and strategic initiatives and projects. Works collaboratively with the management team and other healthcare professionals in the development of nursing practice outcomes. Collaborates with leadership through process improvement and supports program development and organizational mission and goals.
In addition, this position:

* Oversees the ImPACTS program
* Ensures data and metrics are accurate, updated, and communicated to the ImPACTS core team and the PPN hub team
* Manages and schedules all outreach activities performed under the ImPACTS program
* Supports hospital Emergency Care Coordinators in their efforts to improve pediatric readiness in their EDs
* Assists with curriculum development and strategic planning specific to the operational and technical aspects of
* scenarios/curriculum
* Maintains current knowledge of, adult learning principles, industry standards, and best practice for simulated learning
  
*Required Education and Experience*
Registered Nurse.
BSN or equivalent work experience.
Clinical background working with children with special health care needs.
Experience and understanding of community resources and pediatric tertiary care centers.

*Required Credentials*
Current Washington State nursing license.
At time of hire: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers is required for all positions.
Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will be accepted in lieu of BLS for Healthcare Providers.
As a condition of employment: Current BLS for Health Care Providers is to be maintained at all times by all nurses.
Note: current PALS and/or PEARS will be accepted in lieu of BLS and must be maintained as current at all times.
Employees are responsible for any costs (including time away from work) associated with obtaining PALS or PEARS certification if it is not a requirement of the position. (ACLS will not be accepted as a substitute to the requirements listed above.).
PALS Certification may be required for specific departments.

Master's Degree in Nursing Administration or related field.

$115,277.00 - $172,915.00 per year*Salary Information*
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
