1 nurse recommends working with Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center
Pros
Staff is generally nice and helpful. Meditech charting. Free parking. Very wide variety of patients are seen for good experience. Honestly didn't hate it after working here for 5 years as staff. I'd only recommend working here on nights because days are absolutely nuts. ICU ratio: 1:1-3 (standard is 2) PCU ratio: 1:4-5 Surg ortho ratio: 1:5-6 Medsurg ratio: 1:6-7
Cons
No CNAs in ICU at all and getting tripled about 20% of the time. Medsurg/Surg-Ortho Floor CNAs get pulled to a 1:1 about 50% of the time. The bonuses offered for extra shifts maxes out at $180 per shift for a staff RN as of July 2024.
