1. General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Experienced LD RN with at least 1 year. Manage antepartum, intrapartum and post-partum patients.
2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
Meditech, Centricity, Timeless
3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Minimum of 1 year previous L&D and post partum experience required.
4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc.)
ID or compact Nursing License required. ACLS, BLS, NRP and Advanced Fetal monitoring through AWOHNN all required.
5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
AM shift 0, PM shift 1, no call required. Weekends are required, every other weekend. Holidays required.
6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)
Yes, must be able to float to post partum
7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
LDR 10, OR 2, OBED 4
8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)
AWOHNN staffing guidelines followed when able

Scrubs are provided

2-3 shifts of orientation and then traveler should be independent. Will be given a buddy for guidance or questions as needed.

ASAP START! Open to 48 hours/week guarantees, as well. OT after 48 hours/week for all Kootenai contracts. 12 hours of non-billable orientation. Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation. Client may call off 1 shift per 30 days. Client does not accept local candidates and has a 50-mile radius restriction.
