General Job Duties:
Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including diagnostic radiology and CT. Performing all types of radiographic and CT procedures. Responsible for patient safety protocols. Transporting patients to and from Radiology department. Quality improvement projects as directed by department manager/director. Ability to educate patients on exams and preps. Participates in regular, call and holiday schedules. Other duties as required. Ability to demonstrate competency in required skills; understanding and implementation of patient rights; ability to be courteous, diplomatic and tactful when interacting with others; ability to remain calm, follow directions and function effectively during emergent, urgent or unexpected events; willingness and flexibility to accept assignments; able to prioritize tasks; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Skills & Minimum Years Experience:
Mammography experience a plus, but not required.
PACS experience preferred. Must possess basic computer and office skills.
Specific Licensures & Certificate/Registration Required:
Applicant must have AART.
CT certification preferred, but willing to train for the right candidate
