- Unit: PICU
- # beds: 8--average census 2
- Certs: BLS, PALS
- Ratios: 1 to 2
- EMR: Cerner
- Charge Nurse: Rarely
- Nurse Aides: None
- Weekend Requirement: Every other
- Holidays: 2 out of 3
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Tele: Spacelab tele monitors, nurses must read own strips
- Vents: Yes
- Peds Hospitalist Intensivist in house: Yes, in house 24/7
- IV Team: None
- RT 24/7: Yes
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
- Call: If census low and scheduled, may be asked to be on standby
- Shifts: 7a ,7p
- Floating: general peds and burn
- Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts PICU, 1 shift peds, 1 shift burn (for peds)
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Respiratory failure, dehydration, seizures, suicide attempts, Ods, posioning
- Additional Notes: MINIMUM 2 years PICU experience; use medfusion pumps

United Staffing Solutions Job ID #793999. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
