Description
The Physical Therapist shall evaluate patients and prescribe a treatment program, with Physician approval for all patient assigned. The Therapist shall further adjust the program within constraints and confer with the Physician as needed. This individual will document treatment, progress, and make suggestions toward further treatment. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
REQUIREMENTS
Education / Experience: Masters' or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
License / Certification: Active PT license required, BLS required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must also be skilled to provide general discipline specific therapy services to meet patient care requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to maintain a professional and customer centric composure in difficult or challenging situations.
• Ability to effectively communicate with people of various backgrounds throughout the organization.
• Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to guest, visitors, and patients.
• Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
• Skill in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating environment.

Baptist Works Job ID #2019-R. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
