Description
Role: OR Team Leader
Department: Surgery
The RN position is responsible for general supervision and coordination of the activities provided by personnel within Surgery to ensure quality and continuity of patient care; accepts and supports the philosophy, purpose and objectives of Baptist Health and the Departments of Nursing & Surgical Services. The RN position is expected to assist the nurse manager with budgetary responsibilities, human resource responsibilities and other duties as assigned. Shift: 1
Position Qualifications
Position requires successful passage of RN examination and a current AL nursing license. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. BLS certification. Additional specialty certification such as ACLS & CNOR preferred. Five (5) years OR Nursing with 1-2 years’ experience in charge, management, and/or leadership. Able to provide sound judgement and provide instruction in urgent and emergent situations. Possess knowledge and expertise to provide information to the team.
