Job Title: Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (Rehab RN)**\nJob Summary:\n
A Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (Rehab RN) provides care to patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or chronic conditions, helping them regain independence, function, and quality of life. The Rehab RN focuses on restoring physical, cognitive, and emotional health, coordinating care, and ensuring patients receive personalized therapy and support to meet their rehabilitation goals.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n- \n
- Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to develop individualized rehabilitation care plans. \n
- Administer medications, therapies, and treatments, including pain management, wound care, and therapeutic interventions. \n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and physicians, to ensure coordinated care and effective rehabilitation. \n
- Monitor patient progress, assess for complications, and adjust care plans as needed to optimize outcomes. \n
- Provide education to patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, adaptive techniques, and recovery strategies. \n
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility, promoting independence and safety. \n
- Educate patients on the use of assistive devices, such as walkers, braces, and prosthetics, as needed. \n
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, such as complications from injury, surgery, or chronic illness. \n
- Ensure compliance with rehabilitation protocols, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy goals. \n
- Document patient care, progress, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly. \n
- Advocate for patients and provide emotional support throughout their rehabilitation journey. \n

- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted. \n
- Licensure:\n

- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. \n

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. \n
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred. \n
\n - Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in rehabilitation \n
