  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and interventions specific to pediatric care, including pain management, wound care, and post-surgical care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans based on patients’ evolving needs.
  • Perform assessments of pediatric patients’ growth, developmental milestones, and emotional/psychosocial needs.
  • Provide patient and family education related to medical conditions, treatments, medications, and home care requirements.
  • Recognize and respond to changes in patients’ condition, including respiratory distress, dehydration, or infections, and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Support patients in recovery from medical procedures such as post-surgical care, cardiac monitoring, or respiratory support.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure a smooth transition to outpatient care or home settings.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
  • Licensure:
    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

Jolea has been an OUTSTANDING recruiter!!! From getting paperwork submitted to transitioning to my new travel job, she has continually made it a smooth process. I am able to contact her with questions and get an answer in a reasonable time. She communicates often regarding work and sometimes just to check on me. I don’t feel like I’m here alone and know I can contact her and she will respond.

Baltimore, MD

About

Located midway between the North and the South, Baltimore is one of the oldest cities in the U.S. and the nation's capital for a short time during the Revolutionary War. It was here, at Fort McHenry, where Francis Scott Key saw the American flag flying overhead, inspiring him to pen The Star-Spangled Banner. Discover America’s history, from gilded-age mansions and national historic trails to the Edgar Allan Poe House and Fort McHenry National Monument. The Inner Harbor is one of the most popular areas, housing museums, restaurants, nightlife hotspots and one of the city's top attractions, the National Aquarium. It hosts some 660 animal species, including Bottlenose dolphins and puffins. This area also boasts many shopping and dining venues, and from here, you can catch a water taxi for a fun and different way to see the sites.
